Awareness Campaign



May 2008-on going

PlaNet Finance Israel launched a campaign to raise awareness about microfinance as a relevant tool for Israel.
In this framework, few activities have been already carried out:

  • A lecture in IDC Hertzlya on May 19th co-organized with the microfinance club of IDC Hertzlya. 50 students attended the lecture.
  • A series of workshop targeting Israeli NGOs in cooperation with Shatil. In total 40 participants attended

The Feasibility study aimed at understanding the local context (legal/banking/social/cultural...) and the potential demand in order to provide a series of recommendations for introducing and developing microfinance in Israel.
